Centered & Connected: LGBTQ+ Learning and Healing Group
Build community and gain tools for showing up authentically and strengthening connections
Does this sound familiar?
You're thoughtful about relationships: you aim to build genuine, deep connections.
You want to respond to tension mindfully. But that feeling of being stuck in old patterns shows up out of nowhere.
You might notice shutting down, getting defensive, or feeling flooded with anxiety.
You may feel embarrassed and confused later, like your usual self left the building and you don’t know why.
You’re not alone. Staying centered in relationships is hard.
Especially for folks working to unlearn family patterns, heal from difficult relationships, or navigate the impact of transphobia, homophobia, and other -isms.
Understanding your responses and gaining tools for difficult moments can help you build trust with yourself.
It's possible to reclaim your grounded center, and feel proud of how you navigate relationships. .
Why Group Therapy Works
A community of folks navigating shared challenges together can make the possibility of healing REAL, not just a nice idea.
It can be nerve-wracking to join a group, but many find it speeds up their growth
It’s often easier to give yourself grace: your struggles and strengths look different reflected in others
Your experiences can be validated by people who truly get it
You can gain clarity about what's happening when you feel stuck
You may discover that your reactions aren't random or broken—they make sense in context, and they can change
When you see the patterns and understand where they came from, big shifts can happen. Instead of feeling overwhelmed and confused by your reactions, you can find yourself with choices in your most important relationships.
Many people who worry about sharing in a group discover it becomes the most freeing part of their healing journey.
