Sliding Scale Options

I believe that everyone deserves access to quality services, regardless of their financial circumstances. My sliding scale pricing structure reflects my commitment to balancing increased accessibility with the sustainability of my practice.

I recognize that even these reduced rates are inaccessible to many people, and I'm committed to helping connect people with alternative mental health resources that better fit their needs when that’s the case.

How It Works

The sliding scale is based on a self-assessment of your current financial situation and access to resources. Please review the questions below and count how many apply to your situation. Your answers will help you determine which rate tier is most appropriate for you.

Self-Assessment Questions

Please consider the following questions as they relate to your current situation:

  1. Are you and your family homeowners or landowners?

  2. Have you attended private education institutions or do you have an advanced degree?

  3. Are your bills or credit cards on autopay?

  4. Have you been able to access and afford health insurance for you or your family members?

  5. Do you have minimal debt?

  6. Do you have a safety net of economically secure family or friends who would help if you were in need?

  7. Do you have money for discretionary purchases such as dining out, vacations, and recreational activities?

  8. Does your income only support you and your immediate family, and not other loved ones?

  9. Have you or do you expect to inherit money or property?

  10. Have you (or could you have) attended college, or are you currently attending college?

Rate Tiers

Please add up the number of “yes” answers above to determine your rate.

Standard Rate - $200 - 7 or more "yes" answers

Flexible Rate - $160-190 - 5-6 "yes" answers

Community Rate - $110-150 - 4 or fewer "yes" answers

Important Notes

  • This assessment is based on the honor system. Please choose the rate that honestly reflects your current financial situation.

  • Your financial circumstances may change over time, and we can adjust your rate accordingly.

  • If you're unsure which tier applies to you or if you're between categories, please don't hesitate to reach out for a conversation.

  • Sliding scale spots are limited. I maintain a limited number of reduced-rate slots to ensure practice sustainability while supporting accessibility.

  • All sliding scale rates receive the same quality of service and attention.

  • If none of these rates are within your financial reach, please email me at deanna_saunders@letshealtherapy.com. I'm happy to help connect you with in-network providers or other lower-cost options in the area.
